Within the scope of the activities that have been developed, APSI was supported by the Scientific Community Support Fund (FACC) program of the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT). This is a support that helps the Association to boost activities that are taking place and will take place in the future.
This recognition serves as motivation for us to maintain excellent programs, operations and services that support a successful Scientific Community.
Victor Barros

The Portuguese Assocation for Information Systems would like to congratule Victor Barros, Researcher Fellow at Minho University, for his outstanding contributions to the information systems discipline in terms of research, teaching and service, as recognized by the Association for Information Systems the 2018 AIS Fellow Awards.
The award ceremony took place during the 39th annual International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS) and leaders from throughout the field of information systems were honored for their continued dedication and service to their profession.
Victor's work and remarkable contributions were recognized with the AIS Doctoral Student Service Award, alongside fellow researchers:
Mohammad Jabbari Sabegh from Queensland University of Technology
Zhitao Yin from Georgia State University and
Malgorzata Kolotylo from Florida International University.
